Battlefield 3 sound issues

Hello,

I`m having trouble with in game sound in BF3. I can`t find BF3 in Windows sound mixer also. And there is absolutely no sound in BF3. I`ve tried to fix installation in the Origin, searched for driver update for my soundcard (from Windows` device manager) and nothing.

p.s. i`ve HP pavilion g6, windows 8.1 64 bit, for audio: IDT High Definition Audio CODEC and Intel(R) audio for displays.

    Hello.

    Here are some tips.

    • Check for updates your Windows
    • Try to remove and re-install the driver for your sound card.
    • Check the serviceability of your device. ( Try another device.)
    • Reinstall the game.
    • Delete the configuration file settings of the game. (My Documents.--- folder Battlefield4)

    Is this via speakers and headphones or do you get sound from your speakers and not your headphones etc?
