Battlefield 3 stops installing at 99%

I installed Battlefield 3 but at 99% it starts saying "Installing" but nothing happens after half an hour

Hi arsena15!

Following workaround should help to solve your issue:

1. Go to www.origin.com/download

Download and install the latest version of Origin (and make sure you have your Origin account ready as well)

2. Then add Origin into windows firewall and anti-virus software's white list, direct to folder C:\Program Files\Origin Games

3. Make BF3 folder writeable.

4. Then try to install again.

Please let us know if the problem still exists after this workaround.

Navigate to your "Origin Games" folder.
Go into the Battlefield 3 folder and delete the folder called "_Installer".
Now restart Origin and you'll have to press "Ready to install" and your install should start at 99%.
