Battlefield 3 updates for installation.

Hi.

Installed Battlefield 3 for first time and on start up to play a message box appeared instructing..."Install game first. Open game manager. I installed Browser plugins ok but fail to install Game updates. Do i need these? How many Gigs will it take?

Please assist.

    You need to have your game updated before you can play. How many Gigabyte it takes depends on: what platform you are using + what version of the game you have + how many expansions you have + how many updates you already have downloaded.
