Battlefield 3 won't load online game (Black Screen) PS3
This is NOT on start up may I add. I play on PS3 and I used to be able to play the same disc of Battlefield 3 fine. It was only until a while ago that I moved house which has a download speed of 265Kb.. However, when I first moved in, I was able to play Battlefield 3 but one day it just decided it would stop.
So here’s basically what’s happening, I load up Battlefield 3 fine and I come to the main menu. I got onto Multiplayer and go tojoin a game after choosing which game mode to join. Still, everything it working perfectly, it shows the game I’m about to join and the server. It’s straight after that bit, it cuts to black which it usually did before and a little blue square on the bottom right of the screen glows continuously. And that’s it. It used to load the game after a second and I’d be playing, now it’s just seems to be stuck on this black screen with the blue blip flickering in the corner. The strange thing is I can hear audio as well- the games music, but I can never reach it into the game.. I can also bring up my PS3 home screen where it shows my Friends, PSN, Network, Game, etc. However, it'll just stay on that black screen forever and I end up having to quit the game.
The disc has no scratches and I’ve wiped it over and done all of the turning on/off my console, etc. but this game does not want to load a game online anymore. I’ve tried choosing different game options (different maps, game mode) but nothing will work. I’ve even tried connecting to a game with my friend online multiple times before and I’ve tried it with just myself on the wifi in the household, yet nothing works. I can play all of my other games including Battlefield 4 and I do not know anyone else who gets this problem. It’s very annoying and I’m not sure who to go to for help except here so please any advice would be appreciated, I just want to be able to play this game again.
