Battlefield 4 -- Can't play multiplayer

Trying to play battlefield multiplayer it won't! , are able to play on campaign no problems.......is still the server issue with EA that I've seen posted everywhere , my sons friend has had similar issue but could get onto multiplayer but then it kicks him out, my son can't even get onto it! At one point said an issue with packet data but have now resolved that.. Any ideas as he's driving me mad and got a £50 game that's virtually worthless and had I known when he wanted to buy all the issues they are having I would've stopped him!

    Having the same issue.  I keep getting, "You lost the connection to EA Servers.  Online features will be unavailable".  My friend gets in fine, but I can't get to the Multiplayer screen.  I bought the game for the multiplayer so it's worthless to me right now.  Should have bought Call of Duty instead.

    The best way to fix this is to open up ports for the game, but first what you want to do is designate a specific sub IP address for your gaming console on your wireless router if your using wireless so when you open up these ports the address you designate for your console will always be designated for your console.  Primarily I don't know the ports it differs depending on your platform you play on so have ea call you to get those.  For help opening ports and designating a sub IP address for your console its better to contact your service provider.  Press accept as solution if this is the correct answer.

    Why should I have to become a computer tech just to play this game. I spent stupid amounts of money for you guys, the least you could do is make the goddamn thing work with out me having to go full tech nerd just to play a game.

    I have the same problem can't even play the game bought the plays station plus cost me money now I can't play what happen?

    It should be plug and play and not require this amount of tech especially when the game is purchased

    Total rip off. They jyst demand premium membership or you have to buy another game. Little con men.
