Battlefield 4 campaign invisible rockets

There exist many segments of the campaign gameplay where this will be in effect.  Especially if you go to the harder expert level the intensity will be increased.  All to the level that you can simply not just hide behind cover as some weapons in the game do indeed have a substantial splash damage radius.  Airbursts and frag grenades are some examples that can kill you even behind what appears to be solid cover.

Some of the originators of these blasts may not even be within reach for your own soldier to counter.  E.g. you may have an Anti Infantry Fighting vehicle several hundreds of meters away but you have no weapons at your disposal to take it out.

So its not just a question about pinpointing where any enemy fire may be coming from and take them out.  But also and often more important, to strategically navigate the battlefield to strategically make your way through the enemy frontlines without getting killed.

And several times during the Campaign then you will get hammered down if you are simply too slow and classic ordinary in your advancement.  Certainly in the hardest expert level.  Some of the structures or access roads you need to succeed the chapter on will even be destroyed or fall down/rip apart if you are not completing certain actions/advancements before they become out of reach for you.  And when that happens then you have no survivable way out after that.

So yes, time constraints are also of essence to complete the Campaign successfully.
