Battlefield 4 Controls don't work
I have just installed Battlefield 4 for the second time and the in game controls don't work. The first issue was I couldn't not fire my weapon at all using the mouse or any other button assigned to that action. As well... My weapon would fire everytime I would jump and hit the ground.
The second time I installed the game... My weapon would be constantly firing fully automatic as soon as I appeared on screen. The only way to stop it was to set the Gun to single shot, but then the gun would not shoot at all regardless of what button I would assign to "Fire."
My computer knowledge is very good, so please don't post obvious trouble shooting solutions because believe me when I say that I have spent the last 6 hours troubleshooting everything I could to get the game to work and nothing has been successful. But if this has happened to you or you can really think of something intelligent that could solve this problem I would really appreciate it. Thx
This worked for me:
I have gone in the key bindings and removed all the joystick binds for common, in vehicle, and on foot. This has solved my problem. Not sure why this happened today but it is now fixed for me. Tried a multiplayer round with no problems since. - RabidBeetle
