Battlefield 4 fails to launch on EA App ... (It's not you it's us)
Four or five months ago I tried the EA App. All of my games launched and worked correctly except BF4. I got the error message "An error on our end caused your launch to fail. Try again a little later." I spent a lot of time looking through the forums and clean installed the game and still no launch. Went back to Origin and everything worked correctly again.
Jump ahead to 'now'; forced to install the EA App. No problem, I thought it's been "a little later" so it should work now, right? NOPE Same error and no going back to Origin this time.
BF4 is still the only game that will not launch.
Things I've tried, including but not limited to:
Repair (no launch)
Clean install (no launch)
Clean install, Repair (no launch), Repair again (no launch)
uninstall then reinstall Visual C++ all versions 2005-2022 (no launch), Repair (no launch)
Compatibility mode all windows versions (no launch), as admin (no launch)
x86 and x64 .exe from the game folder (no launch)
Can someone at EA look to see what the "error on our end" is and do something about it?
