BF4 freezes for me. An indicator that it will freeze eventually seems to be subtle(or not so) audio distortion or stutter. Nothing is overheating.
OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit
Processor: Haswell quad-core i-5 ~3.4Ghz
RAM: 16GB DDR3
Video: AMD Radeon HD 7970
Video Drivers: Catalyst 13.11 Beta 7
Things I have tried:
-Uninstalled video drivers and ran the program Driver Sweeper to clean up any old/residual driver files. Reinstalled newest beta drivers.
-Ran the game as administrator with compat set to Windows 7
-Tried the 32-bit version instead of 64
