Hi SvelterUser355, thx for your response.
I do believe that you're probably right on my loading issues (altough I don't quite understand why the game would allow the user to interact with it when not all elements have been initiated or loaded in yet... seriously, that's what the loading screen is for...).
The lag with the knife animation... I doubt that everyone has that lag (friend of mine doesn't have any issues with it, so there's that). Are you sure we're talking about the same thing? My animation is laggy. It's not my systems performance, nor a connection issue (it first occurred after the last big update). Also, how would anyone be able to counterknife, if they'd have the same degree of lag I'm having?- 11 years ago
I get that knife lag issue in BF3. I know this sounds stupid but have you tried using a different knife and seeing if it still lags?

Hm, interesting suggestion. I tried it out with a friend of mine, it doesn't seem to depend on the knife.
As I said before, this has first occured after the winter update... I actually found a video on youtube from a guy who's having the exact same problem:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_TyKKNibRc
It's weird though - I had two absolutely smooth animations the other day, but got two laggy ones during the same round as well...
I really would love an explanation on why this is occuring from one of the developers, especially after seeing that not all Battlefield 4 players are affected by this issue. I understand that an update to a program can cause issues, especially with large-scale applications like Battlefield - but I really don't understand why there are no statements regarding this issue from DICE...
Is there any way of getting there attention? 🙂
