I have a solution for you peeps if not an elegant solutions.
What causes your info to be lost?
Usually when you are in the game and your machine freezes. What happens to me; I'll be in multiplayer and the machine will freeze. When I get back in after verifying my files are not corrupt, I find that my campaign information is completely lost.
Here is a VERY annoying solution, but a solution none the less:
1) After you completed each chapter of the game, exit the game.
2) Select the Save game utility
3) Insert a USB drive (where your controller jacks in)
4) Select Battlefield 4 save game data
5) hit the triangle button and select "Copy"
6) It will ask you where you want to save to. Select the USB thumb drive
7) Next time you experience a crash go to the USB folder and select the now newly saved data and it till as you if you want to over write. Say yes. And your saved dated will be reloaded alone with all of your achievements for the campaign.
This also works nicely if your active game data causes an error (meaning corrupt data from a crash).
Tedious, but it works.
Have fun!,

Thanks checkm8ter!
Good idea and I'm trying using the cloud save, playing camphaign upto a point then backing up the save to psn cloud.
Will be interesting to see if I have download my save every time as I'm using weapon unlocks from single player (the rex) in my loadouts for multi as well.
It's just dispointing to have a bug on consistant hardware (a ps4 isn't a pc with a large amount of possible hardware configs) that really should have been tested for and fixed before launch as I love the actual game. If Dice and EA ever really think their going to topple COD they need to get their act together as a lot of people I know have given up on BF4 after all the multi & single player save issues.
