Battlefield 4 random crashes on R9 270x

Ever since the most recent BF4 patch I have been getting random crashes that freeze my whole PC requiring me to restart it, these crashes are seemingly random as I don't see any drop in performance before it crashes and it can happen within the first ten minutes of loading the game or after an hours session. As far as I'm aware these crashes don't happen when I use mantle but when I do that I get random fps drops that make it unplayable, so I decided it may be something to do with direct x so I did a system file check. The check said there were corrupt files that it couldn't repair so to fix it I tried reinstalling windows but the game still crashes.

My PC

AMD FX 8350 @ 4ghz

2x Cross-fired Sapphire R9 270x 2gb

8Gb RAM

600W PSU

 Windows 7

Side note

I have only recently got the second graphics card and the crashes still happened before this, also the same thing happens on GTA V if that helps.

I think I've fixed my problem now, I uninstalled my drivers with this

    http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

Because last time I uninstalled it apparently doesn't completely remove the AMD files like this one does so the problem could have been a file I downloaded ages ago that fixed a issue where textures didn't show up in minecraft after one the the catalyst updates.

IIC4T4LY5TII If you downloaded this as well It might help but if not try it anyway because I'm not sure that is what caused the problem.
