Battlefield 4 rented server inaccessible.

Hi,
I have rent a server for three months, on battlefield 4 for xbox one, but I can't join in, no one player can join in this rented server.

I have contacted EA support in chat many times, but they told me that EA does not manage battlefield4 rental servers, and to try to post here in the forum.

Can anyone help me?

  • Hi.

This morning 8-01-21 time GMT 1 EU the server started working again, even if after the first start, the server was filled with players, then crashed and emptied, from there restarted, the server is operational and full of players, and hasn't experienced any other crashes since this morning.

@CyberDyme the problem was wherever you try to log in, you couldn't log in, server browser of the game, battlelog, or special owner-admin menu.

@CyberDyme @EA_Illium To give more info of the situation:

last month it happened for the first time since the rental extension day.

This time exactly, one month later, there has been a server shutdown for 7-8 days to date.

Then the problem will most likely return.

The worrying thing is that whoever pays for the rental has no real support, there is no communication bridge between the player - EA customer support - and whoever manages the servers.
( this is what i learned after many chats, calls with EA customer support ).

For now the problem is fix, but there is a serious support problem.

  • @tjabo84 There is a small fix that seems to be working.

[Source; The only workaround method is to go to “Manage game and add ons” delete reserved data and delete your data just from the xbox. Relaunch game, click quick match, load into the game, quit the game and go directly to server browser. It works 100% of the time. This is the ONLY WORKAROUND METHOD for xbox one X/Series X/S.]
  • My rented server on PC is having issue by losing the connection to the Blaze Backend. As I know it is happening on other servers, too. These servers just go down x times per day at exactly the same time. All of us, the admins know it is not our connections but the servers themselves.
