Battlefield 4 stuck on loading screen PC

I recently buyed Battlefield 4 premium edition on steam, but when i launch the game, it goes in a black screen with a bar like is loading things, but it never stops. I already tried to repair it multiple times from Steam/Origin, unistalled and reinstalled on steam and Origin, I have updated my drivers,  I have tried a clean boot and nothing happens, I have tried to run it as administrator and the situation doesn't change. I removed every overlay. Please help me, I don't know what to do know.

And before I reedemed Battlefield 4 in Origin, cause I have got it from twitch prime. That version used to works before I got this version on Steam. And now every version have this problem(so I unistalled this one reedemed from twitch)

    To solve this problem I had to:

    1. I had to unistall every version of bt4 with ALL the relative folders.

    2. Then I had to install the Origin version(the only one that worked for me).

    3. Since with this version I didn't have the DLC'S, I installed the BT4 Premium edition from Steam, but I NEVER LAUNCHED IT.

    4. Then I copied the DLC folder, that is situated inside the _Installer folder from Bt4 premium edition (Steam v.), inside the _Installer folder of Bt4 (Origin version).

    5. In the end I copied the update folder from the premium version inside the non-premium version.

    6. Now I unistalled the Steam version and I can play with my Origin's copy and with all my DLC.

    @OwNega1

    If you uninstall all versions of BF4 from your PC and search for Battlefield in your Windows search bar does anything show up?

    You might want to consider CCleaner through this article before installing the game again.

    Thanks for sharing your findings. Some anti-virus programs and Windows Defender can cause games to not successfully launch at times.

    UPDATE: I unistall every folder of BF4, then I installed the Origin version of the game, it worked, but with that version I don't have all the DLC, so I installed the steam version (the premium edition) and when I launch it, after the installation, the login problem showed up again in both versions.

  • I'm pretty sure that the problem is the steam setup then

    Glad to hear this!!!

    That's a crafty way of getting your DLC over to work and we apologize you had to go that route just to get your game to work. We greatly appreciate you relaying the steps back over to these forums to help others out that may come across the same situation, whether it's for BF4 or any other Steam related title.

    Good luck on the battlefield and hope to see you in 2042! 🙂
