Okay. In that case do the following:

    1. Repair the game via origin client
    2. Choose Battlefield 4 x64 in Game Properties
    3. Relaunch Origin as Administrator.

Please let me know how it works.

    Thanks!

  • @Spoonw Hello,

    Try the following:

    1. Go to Library
    2. Right-click on the game icon and select Game Properties
    3.  In the Game Properties go to Advanced Launch Options
    4. In this tab select Battlefield 4 x86 and click Save
    5. Relaunch Origin client (run it as Administrator)
    6. Test the game.

Hi mate I’ve just tried it, it kinda fixed it. It now takes my to battlelog and I can join servers through their but when o leave the server it closes the game with it. So I still can’t technically launch the actual game and get the standered homepage menu

I am now also getting this, yes it works in 32bit, not 64 any more, yes 32 bit seems to work but there is no reason 64bit shouldn't work and this needs to be fixed.

    Any "correct" solution to this?

  • i decided to play BF4 after a year and i opened it up and and had the same problem, the game wouldn't launch. An error kept popping up about graphic card DRX wasn't installed, which all WERE installed in the folder, reinstalled everything again just to make sure, again nothing it was taking 10 minutes to open the game and then just crashing, i tried the steps that were said below and still did nothing for me. I literally spend a whole day trying to see and reading different forms on what the problem could be, and then I was like...hmm I use the after burner to i can see my PC performance and I thought..Hey lets close this and see what happens...and Hey the game launched right away. I dont know why the after burner wasn't letting the game to launch till this day! so hope this helps with someone.

Oh and I see that the Origin over lay has some issue's on BF4 and BF3 that won't launch or the keyboard and mouse not working...

I'm closing this thread to stop it being necroed.

If you have any issues with Battlefield 4 please make a new topic about the issues you are having and what kind of steps you have tried to solve it.
