If they can pull it off fully then BF6 will be utterly fantastic, most of what's being said about the game right now is incredibly interesting. Especially Levolution, the 128+ player battles and the Units idea.
My only real hope is that if crossplay is included it's possible to opt-out or at least have it so console players don't need to play with PC players. Got nothing against PC players at all (am too old and tired for platform snobbery) but I do have concerns about how balanced it would be (E.G. input method, FPS etc) and worries about people not adhering to the ToS.
As far as cross play goes I think it will be fine, CoD:Warzone works great with cross play so I have no doubts, it’s a feature I’m actually looking forward to. I know on the Xbox you can also turn off cross play completely so there is that.
In terms of FPS the new consoles are rock solid, they’re beasts this time around so performance issues shouldn’t be an issue. My only concern would be last gen consoles, they could suffer quite a bit.

In multiplayer Xbox can turn off crossplay. In war zone they cannot. I agree with the ability to turn it off and be able to play with only consoles or my console only. Cod warzone does not work great with crossplay (just my thoughts and experience) but I’m not alone in that thought. There is a very big outcry for consoles only ability in warzone and in a lot of crossplay games in general. I have been waiting for this game since bf4 and I would hate to see what is happening right now in other games happen to this one because the console players are being dismissed and their thoughts and wants being ignored.
on the positive I’m super excited and I’m impatiently waiting for June ea play and more information on it!
looks great so far!!
