Battlefield Bad company 2 CD Key Issue

Hi.

Im trying to play my game Bad Company 2.

(Havent played for about a year or so. This is thrue Steam)

I can start the game. But when im in the "game" it requiers my CD Key.

When I put the correct CD Key in the KeyField it says "CD Key is already in use" well.. no **bleep**?
I baught this game for about 1-2 years ago and I want to play the game I pay for :S.

What should I do?
What can EA do ?

I read a thread about this issue and they said that they have had contact with EA Games and they gave this guy a new CD Key since this is the only thing that can "fix" this issue.
