Battlefield Bad Company 2 FOV

Hi,

This is mostly copy and pasted from a reply I gave in a thread about Medal of Honor (2010) but it is the same issue.

How do I change the FOV for the single player campaign? I find it hard to believe that it is impossible, but if it is, how do I directly contact the developers to ask them to fix it? There has to be a line somewhere which controls this parameter (whether it be encrypted or not). A lot of people on the Steam forums refuse to play the game as they claim it gives them nausea or headaches. I personally do not suffer this FOV related motion sickness but would enjoy the game a lot more if I could change it. The least the developers could do is fix it and either patch in the option or provide the public with modified game files with common FOV's (55, 70, 90, etc) considering the popularity of this game and how common this complaint is.

    Hi,

    while I have not found this option in the game menu,

    there is a Fov=55 setting in the settings.ini but it does not

    seem to work in sp.

    Since the game is a few years old, I do not think this will

    be changed.
