battlefield bad company 2 problems

Hello all, 

After playing Battlefield Bad Company 2 for the first time with no issues, the second time I logged in I was prompted with accepting the terms and agreements as well as entering in the serial key which I had previously put in before. When entering in the key I had been given, it says the code is already registered... as it should be, by me. Any ideas, help, knowledge? Thanks.
