Hi I just bought Battlefield bad company 2. I loaded it onto my laptop (my laptop is almost brand new its got windows 7 with the I5) and when I open it, it opens the battlefield bad company 2 updater...

it is definitely because of your internet connection
try some other ISPs or try downloading the update patches manually
the last update is about 2.5 gb
