Battlefield Bad Company 2

I recently purchased Battlefield Bad Company 2 for PC. I installed it and had a few problems a few weeks later. I left it uninstalled. I went reinstall it today (6/19/13) and it asked for the installation code. Previously when I installed the game I entered the code. I opened the game case to pull out the game manual and find the code, but the manual wasn't there. I seem to have lost it. So now I don't have a installation code, and can't reinstall and play the game. I spent $35 on this game. And honestly wouldn't want to have to buy it again. If it is possible to be given a new code that would be nice. Thanks for the help.
