Not sure, as far as I know DICE don't rush to make Bad Company 3 as they afraid to disappoint fans of this series. Bad Company series is a legend series, so... But that's just my opinion.
I'm pretty sure there is a reason of why we haven't got Bad Company 3 yet.
I get that but then why did they leave it at such a cliffhanger if they don't plan to make another one

Is there anyway we can get BATTLEFIELD: BAD COMPANY 3
@cmduser123 please define what makes a Battlefield a "Bad Company" for you. Previously what made a Bad Company game was the campaign and in multiplayer smaller maps and player counts, a weird class system (medics with LMGs), and no jets. Obviously small isn't the direction Battlefield is going in regarding maps and player counts and the next BF doesn't have a campaign so what would make a current gen Battlefield title a "Bad Company" title to you in a multiplayer only game?
I'm talking about the campaign how BATTLEFIELD: BAD COMPANY 2 left off with everyone jumping from a plane and when they hit the ground they were given the news that Russians had invaded America. Then it just stoped

With 2042 going modern, it's possible BC3 could be the next title in the franchise. Only saying this because the team could re-use assets, similar to what they did with BF1 and V

That single player atmosphere hasn't been recaptured yet. - EA_Blueberry5 years ago

Reminds me of Half-Life 3. Both Bad Company and Half-Life are some of my favorite gaming franchises of all-time. Eagerly waiting a third, but I'll gladly wait longer if that's what it takes. You don't want to rush either one of those. No idea if either one is in development, but at the moment I'm very excited for 2042 and modern combat to make it's return.

That single player atmosphere hasn't been recaptured yet.@Trokey66 I agree, and I did enjoy the campaign and the multiplayer but the multiplayer experience was quite a bit more limited and "consoleized" than BF1942/2/Vietnam/2142 before them. Being that most people play Battlefield for the multiplayer aspect I'm not sure the Bad Company vibe could be recaptured in a modern BF title and BC3 might suffer from the Halflife 3/Duke Nukem Forever phenomenon where the community's nostalgia fueled expectations ensure the actual game never lives up to them no matter how good. That is the main reason I always ask what one's expectations are for a BC3 versus a mainline Battlefield title.

Yeah, I'm also excited for 2042. I missed modern combat.
