Battlefield Hardline for PS4 never installs fully

I know there has been a thread about the slow download rates for the digital copy, but several people who have physical copies can't seem to get the game to install. The game starts to install, and then stops. 

Is there any official comment on this? Do we have faulty discs? Stores will not take back opened merchandise, even with receipt. 

I would really appreciate some explanation as to what is going on.
