battlefield hardline freezes in episode 3: Gator bait

i had a similar issue on Sovereign Land. I had died on the 'use the plane cannon' bit and the checkpoint would never load. All that ever came up was a low res hangar/ green plane.

I have the same issue. I use the crowbar, and the black screen/ blue icon shows up.

The game freezes for me whenever I start a campaign or multiplayer.  The first time I played the game, it worked on campaign up until the end of the first episode then it froze as soon as the game was loaded up by the battlelog webpage.  The window opens to a black screen with the blue loading circle frozen and the origin overlay to tell me to press 'shitf' + 'F1' in the lower left corner.  I have to hard reset each time. 

I'm running:

Lenovo y5070

Intel i7-4700H 2.4ghz

Nvidia Geforce GTX 860M

Driver version 341.88

8GB RAM

Windows 8.1

(and spent a ton of time doing so)

Still nothing works.  Please fix these freezing problems.  I have asked for a refund but will reinvest the money once these issues are solved.

I too have the same problem. PC version, standard, not preordered in the US. I shouldn't have any problems with 4770k, 16gb RAM, 2x 780 Ti and an SSD. Tried reinstalling it in my SSD, HDD, lowered settings, everything. Just doesn't work past opening the door with the crowbar.

Hardline deluxe edition on PS3 same spot when I try to open the door, black screen appears with loading logo and I can hear the game sound as it was nothing happening. I can pause the game and menu will come up, but can't get to games main menu PS3 freezes with black screen. Had to restart many times.
