Battlefield Hardline grappling gun aiming problem ep 3

during Episode 3 Gator Bait you get the Grappling hook. I can't scope or shoot with this device, what am i doing wrong?   i see de reflective surface, the problem is that i can't aim. When ...

    So when you try to aim you cant?

    Can you attempt to use a different key/button as your aiming key/button?

    swapping l1/r1 with l2/r2 worked. maybe my controller is just broken
