- Anonymous10 years agoI have kids that want to play it but the can't because of the language. I mean really, it's a game! There's no need for that language.

So, you're playing a pretty violent game, and you complain about the cussing? That makes total sense... Here's how you turn off the cussing... Don't play itI get so tired of everyone who thinks that just because someone plays a violent game such as a war based game or a police type game that you curse like a salor. So you must assume too that there are no Christians in the military or no christian police out there. All these folks out there that think is so cool to curse every other word.
Sorry protect-n-serve, as an Army combat arms combat veteran I can say the vast majority of combat soldiers say curse words every other word, even the Christian ones. It's a rarity to find a soldier who doesn't cuss, especially in combat. I also currently work with a lot of LEOs and they curse just as much as my soldiers did. Visceral with Hardline and DICE with Battlefield went for the trying to be more authentic with the dialog and that generally means there will be swearing, and often a lot of it.

the difference here that your mind is not grasping onto is that you can't control what other people say in real life. this is a video game and people have their own reasons for not wanting the air in their room filled with curse words while they play their games. and a thoughtful human being would respect that without questioning the other person's motives and telling them that their opinion is wrong.
