Battlelog issues.

Took a small break from playing Battlefield. Came back and suddenly my stats fail to load. I can't join a match, play co-op or even start the campaign mode. I've tried repairing my install along with disabling cloud. Still no good.

Even when I go to the multiplayer screen. I can't change any of the search filter settings.  I basicaly can't do anything with battlelog...

try reinstall web browser trythis method:

The current web plugin is version battlelog-web-plugins-1.138.0-retail-prod Make sure you have that somewhere in your download folder.

Next, completely uninstall it using the Control Panel - Programs & Features/Add Remove Programs. Once uninstalled, clear your browser cache, cookies and temp files. Now you're read to reinstall in a clean state. Find the browser plugin (most likely in your Downloads folder) and run the program. It will install the plugin and you should be set!.

Post back if you still experience issues.

p.s which windows you are using 32 bits or 64? win 7?

    General information about Punkbuster

Punkbuster is an anti-cheat tool developed by evenbalance, a company that was founded to fight Cheaters in videogames. Punkbuster is used by a lot of different games, such as Battlefield and Need for Speed.

    Updating Punkbuster

    1. Navigate to your Battlefield Folder(for example: C:\Origin Games\Battlefield3)

    2. Start the "pbsvc.exe"as administrator

If the "pbsvc.exe" doesn't exist, download it here: http://www.evenbalance.com/downloads/pbsvc/pbsvc.exe

    3. Start "Un-Install/Remove Punkbuster Service"

    4. Delete all files inside "C:\Origin Games\Battlefield3\pb"(Not the folder itself, though!)

    5. Download Punkbuster from http://evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php

    6. Save the Setup in any folder on your computer

    7. Start the Setup as administrator

    8. Click "Add Game"

    9. Choose "Battlefield 3" as game and make sure that the game path is your Battlefield 3 folder.

    10. Click "Check for Updates"

If an update is available for Battlefield 3 PB, Punkbuster will start downloading it now.

    11. Repeat step 1 and 2

    12. Start "Install/Re-Install Punkbuster Service"

Punkbuster should be up-to-date right now and a restart is recommended.

That should be it, I hope I could help you out.

go to settings in origin, then scroll down!!

    1) Uncheck use cloud storage for all games
    2) Delete settings folder in C:/Users/your name/My documents/Battlefield 3 (you can make a copy to save in case)
    3) It should now work

    Hey guys,

I actually ran into the same error last night. However, it had to do with some security settings I had on my PC.

One thing you can attempt to prevent any background programs from interfering with your launch/connection is to clean boot the PC.

You can find instructions on clean booting here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/331796

Step 1: Start the System Configuration Utility

    Click Start

, type msconfig in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or provide confirmation.

Step 2: Configure Selective Startup options

    1. In the System Configuration Utility dialog box, click Selective Startup on the General tab.
    2. Click to clear the Load Startup Items check box.
Note The Use Original Boot.ini check box is unavailable.
    3. Click the Services tab.
    4. Click to select the Hide All Microsoft Services check box.
    5. Click Disable All, and then click OK.
    6. When you are prompted, click Restart.

Step 3: Determine whether the problem is resolved

    • After the computer starts, try to start the affected game or program to determine whether the problem is resolved.
    • If the problem does not occur after you restart, the interference is occurring because of a background program or service. In this case, see the "Determine what is causing the problem" section.
    • If the problem returns after you perform a clean startup, the interference is not occurring because of a background program or service. In this case, this article cannot resolve your problem. See the "How to return Windows to Normal startup mode" section to return your computer to the original startup mode. Then, go to the "Next steps" section for other resources that may help you resolve this problem.

    (From the Microsoft FAQ pages)

Once clean booted, if the issue is still present, it could be indicative of a larger error. If you are able to connect, that would indicate there is a program on your system preventing the connection.

This might be the issue. Mine is version 1.222.0.

How would I go about updating this to 1.138.0?

    and Win 7 64bit.
