Battlelog Problems how to activate soldier?

Ok so I got battlefield 3 today and I have it on my xbox as well. For some reason when i want to play online it says active soldier i have no IDEA what to do pls help.

You cannot play with your xbox soldier on PC.

You have to buy Battlefield 3 to pc, you cant use a xbox soldier on pc, sorry

I have a new laptop, A Pre-existing xbox account, I want to register an active soldier to my battlelog so as I can see my stats etc.
How can I do this?
