@FlyingScotsman74 I've since gotten confirmation that they should be recovered when this issue is fixed. I still don't have an ETA, but at least now folks should feel more secure when opening BPs. If you want to hoard them until the fix drops that's fine too, it shouldn't make any real difference.

    Thanks.

As I understand it the item won't be lost, merely temporarily inaccessible. However I can see that being a problem in itself. From my experience with the issue I found I had more problems during Peak times, and I never had a problem during quieter times. The quietest time of the day is very late US time/early Europe time, if you want to hoard battlepacks and open them then you should have more luck.

Or just hoard them until we can confirm this fixed. 🙂

  • No there lost over 3 days is not temporarily inaccessible in my opinion they are lost completely

Will there be any compensation to those who experienced this issue/bug? I had the same problem and recorded a clip on my account (xX QUEEZY Xx)

I just got the same issue and was looking for a way to report it so I could notify EA of what happened. Glad to see that it's already noted & looks like it will be solved when the error is fixed.

I will update when that fix is out & tell you if I was personally awarded the Battlepack Item in my Inventory after the fix.

    Thanks!

910 scraps and bought superior pack. Error when opening and did not get content. Nothing in inventory as i sold everything to get to 900 scraps. Only 10 scraps left.  Using PC as platform.

I have been able to open every normal battlepack. It is only the superior one that i bought with scraps that failed. BUT - no sign of the problem having been fixed and the superior battlepack reappearing,

  • Happened to me ~15mins ago. Got a battlepack from a match. Tried to open it, got black screen and after waiting for awhile got "An error occurred when trying to open the Battlepack" message, battlepack lost and no item(s) received.

  • This is still an issue and I haven't found any updates or bug fixes.  I posted a video on my channel to show what happens every time I attempt to open a battlepack.  It's very strange that once I receive the error I will disconnect and the client will go offline.  If I am running discord I will even disconnect from my server there at the same time.  Eventually both will recover their connection.
