BC2 servers down. AGAIN?

This is getting to be a joke.
Actually - no - a joke would have to be funny.

Lucky for me a fellow Steam forum member posted a link to this site - https://help.ea.com/article/scheduled-maintenance-and-downtime-for-select-titles
This clearly explains why I (and thousands of other BC2 players) cannot play this game.
9 hours for Maintenance? WTF? I did not see BF3 in the list of affected games.
We as customers pay top dollar for your games and have to put up with this crap.
This seems to occur more than once a month of late.
And we are required to register with an email address to play the game so is it not possible to send out a notification of this planned work?
The fact that you do not - and that you would make this page impossible to locate using searches suggests that you have no regard whatsoever for your customers.

I am pretty sure I have just wasted my time writing this as I am certain I will never get any response much less any acknowledgement.

great minds, I swear thats the exact same thought i had, with an after thought of 'if they think im upgrading to 3 or 4 just coz its down they can think again'

  • Your fellow man will respond to this! I've been outraged for days for BFBC2 on xbox but knowing full well I will never get the result I want. What makes it worse is the new gen consoles (I know your talking PC, I still think thats bull crap too) are coming out near end of year, you think they could have at least kept the servers going on for that long!

Never ever had this problem with STEAM  or for those of you who remember, the old WON servers. Going back to VALVE games, too much agravation with anything EA produces. Not to mention the DRM issues and that disaster SIM CITY. If some of you are even considering that lump of **** just remember its like SIM CITY SOCIETIES with postage stamp regions, online play is useless because you have no idea your playing with anyone else....brilliant!! any ways back on topic, me thinks they sacrificed the BFBC2 servers for the SIM CITY fiasco. So much for planning your online gaming to any degree!!!!!!!!!!!
