BF1 February update stuck on installing.

BF1 February update.

Anyone  have an issue with the update stuck on installing?

I have the pc version, downloaded the update yesterday and had the installing green line thing go on and on for about 6 hours before needing to turn off my pc and go to work. Don't like to leave my pc on for 12 or more hours while i'm at work.

So today i try the repair option and files checked 100% and back to the bloody installing BS again! Has been going for about 3 hours now.

 How long should this update take to install and what can be done to fix this?  Getting rather bored watching the green installing thing go from left to right, hour after hour...

    My download and install finished in under 2 hours, not sure exactly because I was doing other things, but I know start to finish it went faster than what you state.  Sorry to say I haven't heard of anything like this before, I hope one of the others here has a good idea for you.  I would try to cancel the update and restart your machine and see if it makes any difference....

    Yeah seems there is definitely something wrong here. I've done loads of searches and found nothing much that relates to this problem.

    I tried cancelling the update, rebooting, validating/repairing files and swearing a bit. No joy...

    Thinking of uninstalling the game and Origin and forgetting about it. I have the hard copy of the game, guess I'll just sell it.

    Maybe I'll try re-installing the whole game again but if it gives me any more grief I"ll be done with it. Shame it's a great game but I have honestly spent more time installing the game than playing it.
