"Failed to connect to EA Online"

I bought BF1 ages ago and had this issue and it has never been resolved.

I have tried everything under the moon to get it to go online

• My EA App overlay is working fine and is able to search for friends so it's connected2. I just played BFV yesterday and today so no issue there
• I flushed my DNS 
• Restarted router
• I restarted my computer
• I reinstalled the game 
•  Changed my DNS to google (8.8.8.8)
• dxdiag is done
• Bought EA Play 

Battlefield V is working fine on my PC but this is the only game having troubles and I am lost. Can someone please help me
