BF1 Hard crash after every round

So. I have Asus G751JY laptop. I can play with no hicups, but after every round I have a hard crash. That means My computer goes black and Msinfo does not record anything from that crash.

I have no idea what is causing this. I disable all I could think of.  DX diag also shows not errors.

  • Noticed that if I alt-tab to windows in end of every round, the crash won't happen. Interesting

    I

am having the same exact problem i hope they can fix it!

  • I think I fixed it. I played at least 3 matches without crashing. If you have ASUS G751JY these steps might fix your problem.

    What I did:

I updated the BIOS of my laptop to version 211 from here: https://www.asus.com/support/Download/3/719/0/3/LYuLg2456gbkV5dw/41/

That did not quite fix it so I ran Windows memory diagnostics(no problems there) and then did a Clean boot.

This instruction can be found here https://help.ea.com/au/article/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/ and the steps are also in this message.

However, I did not disable all or go beyond step 4. I just disabled these services: ASLDR Service, AsusGameFirstService, ATKGFNEX Service, NVIDIA Wireless Controller Service, Razer Game Scanner, Skype Updater

How to do a clean boot:

If you're running Windows 10 follow these steps to clean boot:

    1. Beside your start button, you'll see a magnifying glass icon. Click on it to open search.
    2. Type msconfig in the search box, and press enter to bring up the System Configuration window.
    3. Click on the Services tab.
    4. On the window that opens, check the box to Hide all Microsoft Services, then click the Disable All button to the right.
    5. Click on the Start Up tab, then on Open Task Manager
    6. Let the Task Manager list populate (this can take a few seconds), then right-click and choose Disable on each of the start up programs listed.
    7. Close the Task Manager window to return to the System Configuration window.
    8. Click OK to save your changes, then restart your computer.

    Hope this helps!

I had the same problem and tried other things changing in the registry first but that didn't help. Disabling the ASUS services mentioned helped for me to, thank you very much!
