BF1 keyboard layout of PC changed

Question

sometimes i play BF1 but there are probs with it i am using my third pc now and randomly after some time playing BF1 completly random the layout of my keyboard stays the same but ^ and ESC are the same button and cannot be changed back seriously i tried for hours and this time im not reinstalling windows

^ is located in very different locations depending on the keyboard layout so I'm not sure what 2 keys are switched for you.
Are you hitting the Windows 10 keyboard layout switch shortcut by mistake perhaps? It's windows key+space.
