BF1 Operation Gamemode too unbalanced

I've played a good 10 hours of the new Operations game mode, and I've realized that whenever I'm on the attacking team we never get passed the first map. It feels as though the game is unbalanced and too easy to defend. Is this just me or are other people having the same problem?

  • Thanks for the feedback. I love Ops (24/7 Kaiserschlact rotation DICE plz) and I've found that vehicle and Behemoth use is a big decider. On defense, if we can hold off their Behemoth and heavy tanks I find we'll do well.

However on the other hand I've played matches when Attackers focus the AA guns and quickly take down any tanks doing the awkward shuffle to get a heavy shot on the Blimp. With a largely unharassed Zepplin we found ourselves being solidly routed most of the time.

DICE should have extensive stats on wins/losses, how far each battalion progresses, and other pertinent data, so I guess they'll factor this into future balance updates.

There's been one update to the game so far, but it dealt with bugs and didn't make any balance changes.

Yeah, its seems mainly this way to make the player get a real feel of how hopeless this war really was. ok?

BTW, this game ain't supposed to be easy, I rarely get past stage two in Ops game, its just that hard. The, "Lack of Armored Vehicles" and support Vehicle is all about WW1 and the Meatgrinder it really was.

    Good Luck...5

Right now in Ops, as soon as the Defending  team gets a Zep,  then all the planes seem to spawn on their side as well. This makes no sense to me?

When either  side has a Zep, then Either side should also get planes of equal Value too. A Zepplin brings out the Fighter Squadrons to Attack/Defend the Zep!  ONLY! in WW1. Each Vehicle was to large to send up without these at all!

Same thing with the bombers!  It was "Extemely Rare" when a Bomber did a "Lone Wolf" run on the Enemy!

They need  one bomber or zepplin, attacking each side, then at least two fighters dedicated to protecting them! Simple to program too, just put a "Dead Zone" around the Bomber/Zepplin, that will not the Fighters to "Wander off" and fly  around on their own. This "Dead Zone" has the same type of, "OUT OF BOUNDS"    timer on it, to tell the fighter pilot to go defend/attack the Bomber/zepplin!

Rightnow, there is way to much, "Wandering" by people in a Plane.! I witnessed on player, "Flying outside the fight area, for a "FULL GAME!"

You need to kick em for this EA! Others want a chance to fly too?

BTW, in BF3/4 they used to   call em, "ADMINS" that made sure a game was "Balanced" and gave em the tools to see it was a Balanced game too!

This game, BF1, falls way short being "Balanced" in so many ways its just silly!
