as mentioned in numerous other threads, there was a short timeframe where the stats could not be fetched correctly. This has since been resolved and was only an intermittent issue.

I have updated my battlefield 1 a few moths ago and on PS4 I quit the application many times as my rank was 0 and all my guns and classes were locked and reset this bug has not been fixed I was level 30 back to 0 and it isn’t working my online I’d is EASAHTHEDESTROYE
same...from level 130 to newbie overnight....anyone know a resolution please?
There is no resolution besides waiting. Today EA (together with Blizzard and many other companies) experienced a major outage caused by optic fiber infrastructure being damaged and what you're experiencing now is the aftermath. Services are coming back one after another, but stat-gathering service appears to be a separate entity from the game, which is why progression appears reset despite the game working.
All in all, I wouldn't expect that to change until it's officially confirmed that functionality has been fully restored (EA Help Twitter will be giving information about it when that happens: https://twitter.com/EAHelp). Obviously, there is no ETA on when it will happen, although based on speed of recovery so far I wouldn't expect the wait to be too long.
If your level still shows as zero after EA Help announces the all-clear, play a couple of matches after connecting via server browser. Sometimes it's needed to synchronize the stats (and thus bring them back).
