I've been able to boot into Co-op mode in public matchmaking around maybe a month ago when I got the game, but as of recently it seems like the matchmaking is screwed. Right now when I try to search for Co-op games it'll show the "Waiting for player to join" gamestate, the BF3 client will start as a background process but it won't actually load into a co-op game regardless of how long I wait in queue. The background client only ever ends up consuming some 43-ish MB of RAM so the game isn't loading anything, CPU usage for BF3 climbs to around 30% after hitting 43 MB RAM usage before dropping down to zero. If I refresh Battlelog, the gamestate disappears but BF3 is still open as a background process. If I wait long enough, I get greeted with "Could not communicate with BF3. Please use the Task Manager to close it down.".What's up with this? I've used Chrome to boot into matches in the past and its worked fine before, tested to see if disabling Chrome extensions changed anything and it didn't. Wondering if this is an issue with Chrome itself rather than the game.Edit (Feb 08 2021); It's been a minute. I've tried launching BF3 co-op through Opera GX and it pretty much failed to load into co-op lobbies the exact same way.

It looks like a fun idea to me, thank you.BUT (in order not to spend a lot my time and energy finding out / debugging this on my own)I first want to have official confirmation from EA / DICE themselves if BF3 COOP still works or not in 2020- I already have asked this to EA_Jason (on 02 july 2020) and- I am still waiting on a reply from him or any other official BF3-forum moderator here.

@nigerian_cuisine It has been a common issue the "BF3 not launching". Across the different aspects of it, co-op to campaign to multiplayer, if you check the forum you can see a lot of us are having similar issues. Different fixes work for different people but in the end nothing has been 100% worked.
Have you tried to contact Help EA Live Chat? Through the help.ea.com website you can reach them. They tend to be very helpful and they are able to manage your account and game library. Alternatively you can try to reach them on Twitter they answer there too.

Coop-mode For Battlefield 3 is still working. I just tried my self.

What version of the game do you have?
Can you see each other on Battlelog online?

Yes @EA_Atic we can see each other in battlelog online and after loading screen the game just quits itself.

@imychael Having the same issue. The game quits with the message "co op game was cancelled".
