BF3, Can't join any server!

When I try connecting to a server it stalls at "Joining Server" for about 5 minutes and then a message appears telling me "".2 Days ago everyting was working perfectly but today i've spent the whole day trying everything I could find online to fix this issue.

Anyway I search the internet and find a lot of people having this issue, so I tried fixing it but nothing worked...

Things I have tried doing:

  • Repair game
  • Delete Battlefield 3 Folder in my documents and repair game
  • Reinstalled Punkbuster(+update), Origin, Battlefield
  • Run Origin and Battlefield in Admin Mode
  • Check the destination folder+regedit to not contain the "tm" at the end
  • Reinstall Battlelog
  • Try 3 different browsers with battlelog
  • Try IE and Chrome with the "no plugin mode"
  • Restart Internet Router
  • Restart PC
  • Deleted pb folder and reupdated with pb Battlefield 3
  • Ran origin in offline mode while trying to connect in battlelog
  • Checked drivers
  • Checked redistributable, framework

...and probably other things I forgot. Could it be that a new version of the Origin client got installed and messed it all up? Anything else I could try? Help?

I've found the fix, anything other has not worked.

Run bf3 from origin and wait for the battlelog to launch, don't join any server yet. Once battlelog has opened go offline on origin. Now you can join any server!

    (..)appears telling me "

    Game not starting

We're sorry, it looks like your game didn't start properly.

Please follow the steps below and try start the game after each one:

    • Make sure all drivers are up to date
    • Restart Origin
    • Repair the game in Origin
    • Restart your computer".(...)
  • The method that has solved this problem for all of my clan mates is double clicking the BF3 icon in Origin and then allowing the game to sign you into Battlelog.  Try it and post your results.

This worked the other day and now it did not, so I went on searching and it seems like disabling login verification inside Account and Privacy did the trick!
  • Can confirm, that this solution works. Thanks, you just took me back to 2010.

I'm closing this thread to stop it being necroed.

If you have any issues with Battlefield 3 please make a new topic about the issues you are having and what kind of steps you have tried to solve it.

@mall0mars Servers are up and running currently.
