Found it. https://web.archive.org/web/20210315030145/https://forums.battlefield.com/en-us/discussion/206301/upcoming-forum-transition/p1?new=1. Should have said "all content is going to be deleted" instead of "transitioning" IMO tho to make it clear.
I also think that there should have been a notice using the battlelog notification banner that's been used for the numerous degraded service incidents in the last months (battlelog servers overloaded / profile data corrupted / chat interface not usable). Or something else everybody would notice. Whatever, it's too late now.
> sucks I know, battlelog forums had a wealth of information.
There were many topics with actual valuable information. For example many guides about weapon loadouts or help articles about reinstalling punkbuster. This one is also linked to in support threads in this forum and now no longer available.
What I find really unprofessional is that the forums now state "We haven't set up any forum categories yet. Check back in a while will you.". That's incorrect and misleading, especially the "Check back in a while"-part. That the people wo decided to shutdown the forums considered the effort too much to write a single sentence about the forums being shutdown and content being unavailable now is beyond me.
