BF3 Stuttering whilst shooting/recoil?

Maybe this will help you:

• manually update your Punkbuster Client: http://answers.ea.com/t5/Battlefield-3/FAQ-Updating-Punkbuster/td-p/16290
• go to X:\Origin\Games\Battlefield 3\pb
• create a new file called "pbcl.cfg"
• Enter this and save the file:

pb_MsgPrefix = ^0PunkBuster Client
pb_Sleep = 500 (20 to 500)
pb_LogToFile = 1 (0=No, 1=Yes)
pb_SsLog = 0 (0=No, 1=Yes)
pb_SsSave = 0 (0=No, 1=Yes)
PB_LAN = 0 (0 to 1)
pb_logmd5tool = 0 (0 to 1)
pb_Security = 1 (0=No, 1=Yes)
bind b pb_getss

Hi @AstroflashOrigin,

If you right-click the Battlefield 3 cover in your Origin library you will find the "search for updates" option.

Just copy/paste (CTRL+c and CTRL+v) the text into the new text file and put it into your Battlefield 3 pb folder. Also please make sure you rename it correctly: pbcl.cfg. If you cannot see any file extensions please read this article:

Most people who experience the microstutter are able to solve it by disabling Origin in game - Origin in game is enabled by default. 

To turn off Origin in game log into Origin, in the upper left hand corner click on the word "Origin" in the menu, and then click on "Application Settings".  Next go to the "Origin in game" tab and uncheck the "enable Origin in game" box.

@ragnarok013Thank you for the reply. I have RTS capping the game at 120fps with no fluctuations. Still experience the weapon stutter, though it is mitigated on ex. campaign.

Might be that online servers are correcting the client at a tick interval lower than my fps?

I have It too 9 years and this problem is not fixed
