BF4 Commander App on IOS stopped working

My BF4 Commander App for IOS is not working since this morning. Prior to this it was working fine. The problem is as follows: * No UAV scan icon exists, the icons for EMP scan and vehicle scan etc, exist as well as the icons for promote squad, ammo drop etc. * No icons exist on the map for the control points, i.e. "A", "B", "C", etc. * The ticket count starts at 000 and remains at 000 for the duration of the game * Cannot give squad orders to the squads, I can touch on their icons but not give them orders. * All enemy units are marked as HVT's, I have a screen shot if anybody wants to take a look at it. This only started happening this morning, prior to this it was working perfectly. I am not sure if it has anything to do with the January 30 update. The iPad is an iPad 2 with IOS version 6.1.3, which I do NOT want to upgrade to IOS 7. There has been no update for Commander app on IOS store. Troubleshooting steps I have already undertaken: * closed down the app completely and restarted - no difference, app still broken. * closed down the iPad completely and restarted the iPad and then the app - no difference, app still broken. * tried using my PS3 profile instead of PS4 one - no difference, app still broken. * removed the app completely and reloaded it from the IOS app store - no difference, app still broken. * tried different maps and map modes, i.e. Conquest on Golmund, Altai, Range, Flood Zone, Hainan and Zavod, all display exactly the same broken app. I have done extensive trouble shooting on this, but still have the same problem whereas the app was fully functional less than 12 hours ago on exactly the same device.
