Ever since release, the game had crashed in various ways, one of the was the DirectX Error. The past weeks it's been better, and the only kind of crash has ben when the game stops responding. Atleast i didn't get the loop sound bug that's been way too common. So BF4's been almost playable up to tuesday, when i (after a couple of hours of gameplay) i got the "DirectX function GetDeviceRemovedReason failed with dxgi_error_device_hung" again.
I swore as usual, and started up the server, ready to redo all the progress i lost, just to get the error again, after 4 sec of gameplay.
And here i'm stuck. As soon as a map is loaded, i get the error. I've reinstalled the game, and as soon as i try to enter, error. So as it is now, i can't even play at all, and i'd like to know what it is. I've never had any problem with another game, so i fail to see that it's a problem with my GTX 590.
I've checked temperatures on my GPU (barely over 80c) and i'm about to downgrade to Nvidias 331.65 to see if that works.
If anyone have any other solutions, i'd love to hear them. Getting abit bored/tired of going through all this crap, even for this game :/
I tried downgrading my graphics driver, it seemed to make the problem slightly better. I could be imaging things though. It's still a problem for me.
