Bf4 dlc broke on xbox one

As this seemed to have solved it also for others with the same/similar issue and as all other things on your end seemed fine as we checked, i wanted to remind you again to also try this now if you haven't yet.

1. Change your DNS manually to (Primary) 8.8.8.8 and (Secondary) 8.8.4.4 [Those are the Google DNS settings, should keep the connection also better and more stable]

Clear alternate MAC address and restart console when prompted. 

2. Go to settings > system > console info and select the option to reset your console while keeping your games and apps. 

There is no need to reinstall the game or any of the DLC's. Just set up the console again, wait a while for your the Xbox to catch up with itself and then check again if it's working.

Alright, after over 2 hours of doing this and losing a ton of saves and dlc, I had to reset the dns settings (factory reseting clears the changes you just made) and having to uninstall all the dlc (it said I needed to install them and reinstall) and reinstalling them and hard power cycling my Xbox 5 times it finally worked, so thanks

@KSK_MEDIC sry to hear you had so much trouble to get it all all running again, but glad that you said it worked out at the end. 🙌

I hate that I have to post this again, and if this doesn't work I'm going to just quit bf all together, I will link the previous thread later. 

If I try to join a game that is one any dragons teeth, final stand, or china rising map my game with just sit on a black screen with the loading thing in the top right, this will go on as long as I let it, I once left it loading and went out to dinner, came back 3 hours later and it was still there, I have tried everything, I have called Xbox and ea both are useless, I opened support tickets, they get closed without helping me, I have moved the dlc and game from external to internal and back, tried separating them and having them together, power cycled my Xbox over 1,000 times, I've factory reset my console 3 times, uninstalled the game and dlc 15 times, I have my Xbox set as my home Xbox, I'm on the profile that purchased the content, I've only had one Xbox One console in my life, I used to be able to play the dlc about 3 years ago. 

In the previous thread someone told me to change my dms settings, clear my alt Mac address and factory reset, this worked instantly HOWEVER the second I got on NOW my friend had the same issue I did, so we just got off feeling defeated, but I have wanted to play for years so I got on this morning to play and guess what, the game is back to being a pathetic pile of Garba and I can't load dlc maps, I hard reset my Xbox and it didn't work!

Should I just give up? Is this 4 year war futile? 

Ea and dice already got my money, they couldn't get paid enough to care about me or any other customers? And it seems that every possible fix on earth doesn't work, wtf am I supposed to do? 

Am I not allowed to play this game?

After a couple of weeks of working I'm right back in the same boat with the Dragon's Teeth and Final Stand DLC. Ugh! Frustrating as heck!

Same here, it only worked a day, and it broke again, I just uninstalled bf4 I will never touch that game again and tbh I'm now boycotting EA, on top of all their other awful business practices they have just stolen my money and shown zero effort to help me, I will find something else to play
