BF4 DLC will not completely download....

Selling games to millions of people before ensuring that they work correctly would also in my mind be, ill-advised, especially when people have issues and nothing gets done to fix them.  At any rate, I did manage to download the Naval Strike DLC finally, as I resolved my own issue, which I will post here so that maybe next time someone has this issue you can help them out.  Turns out it was in fact the .cas file in the update folder of the installation directory that was corrupted, probably at some point during one of the many update downloads.  However, the solutions that I found on the internet all really only related to the Beta version of the game and so were of course not much help.  What I DID find worked though was in the same general theme of some of those threads...basically I went in and deleted the cas_01.cas file, although I didn't actually delete it but changed the name of the file to cas_01_old.cas, all of this with Origin exited.  I then restarted my computer, restarted Origin clicked on My Games --> Right-click on the MAIN BF4 picture NOT any of the expansions, and clicked REPAIR GAME.  The repair tool went through and replaced the missing, and previously corrupted cas_01.cas file with the correct cas_01.cas file, finished repairing and immediately and more importantly CORRECTLY downloaded and installed the Naval Assault DLC with absolutely no issues.
