Hi valigv94, what are you playing on?
Make sure your anti-virus is (temporarily) turned off while downloading the update as this interferes with the download/verification process which can lead to it being stuck in a constant loop of downloading/redownloading.
I have turned my anti virus software off and the update is still taking a lot of time and took another 13GB of usage, I have decided to uninstall and reinstall Battlefield to see if that will resovle the issue and this is on Xbox One
