i did find for me that setting the bf4 process to high via the task manager smoothed it out some, however i still notice drops and its only using about 50% of the power in my machine, about 50% on the CPU and the SLI is around 50-70 depending on settings.

how do you set it to high? (maybe add pictures if you have time)

You go to your Task Manager(Ctrl + Alt + Esc), go to Processes(If Windows 8 it's called Details), right click on bf4.exe, and it should be clear from there.
@OP I made my own thread before seeing this one. All my details are there http://answers.ea.com/t5/Battlefield-4/CPU-GPU-usage-spikes/m-p/1751137#U1751137 - if you want to see what happens to your CPU/GPU usage when you get these freezes open up the console and put in;
perfoverlay.showgraph 1
and just replace 1 with 0 to turn it off.

Not only does my PC freeze but tells me my PC is shutting down and re- starting this happens after every game ends . Any one else like me
