TRY THIS
Many people have reported that setting the game to Windows 7 compatability mode has resolved the issue, as it has for myself.
If you are running win 8 or 8.1 and have not tried this out yet I strongly suggest you do! I have been able to play for countless hours without having any memory issue. even though I seem to have the highest chance to get the leak (seeing that most people having the leak are running a HD6950)
so try it out and report back! I have not seen posts yet of this not working!

@cayotei
How about the whole page of posts that report that this isn't the solution?
32-bit seems to be working better for me. Yesterday it was nearly unplayable, I had a memory leak in every single round (at least once)...very nice indeed...

Add me to the list of individuals which this workaround does not work like the others whom have mentioned this in this thread, the situation is just the same, one round, or two round maximum in multiplayer and the game becomes unplayable. The only way I can remotely play is to quit after each map straight away. If I stick around to let the second map load there is a high chance that I'm not getting that memory back ever and a reboot is in order. ( not f un )
As others have stated it's probably just best that some of us wait for an official patch to be released to address this and some other outstanding items. I've simply given up on playing until then.
