I can attest to that. This was happening in BF3 for me, and now is happening in BF4. All repost I've seen suggest this is only happening to folks with Radeon graphics. Behavior is such that when my memory (16GB) fills up the game begins to stutter and seemingly goes into slow-motion. It will eventually crash. Upon crash I check the performance monitor and see that ~95% of my memory is supposedly in use. The only way to release the use of this memory is to reboot my computer.
I'm not sure when the memory is being claimed in BF4 (during game-play, or when the map is loading), but in BF3 the memory leak would apparently begin when the map would load for the next round.
My OS is completely up-to-date, I have the latest AMD Beta graphics drivers. Crashes are all too frequent!!!!! Please EA, AMD fix this!!
