BF4 PC Premium Not Working

Ok so I have premium for PC and Xbox One for BF4. Problem is that PC premium doesn't allow me to download DLC yet Xbox One Premium allows me to download them just fine. For PC it says I have to pay for the content when I already have premium. What's going on here?

  • Hello ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ,

    Might be some account interfearance. I suggest you contact EA lvie support and let them check if evrthing is bound to the right account.

    I will see you on the battlefield!

    I couldn't find a way to contact them. Link please?

    Also anyone have a seperate solution? I bought this from a third-party seller. It was a confirmed code as well.

  • Hi @llskittlesll, is the problem that you cannot play the DLC's?

    If so, then follow these steps:

    Please first make a backup copy of your registry as described here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/back-up-registry#1TC=windows-7

    Next check out these steps below:

    1. Log out and fully exit Origin
    2. Open your Registry Editor - Type in regedit on the Start Menu Search field and press Enter
    3. Navigate through HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > EA Games > Battlefield 4
    4. Check if there is a folder named Xpack1 under Battlefield 4
    If YES -> Click on Xpack1, on the right pane check if there is a string named Installed, the Value data should be True
    If NO - right-click on Battlefield 4 > New > Key
    - a new folder will be created, name it Xpack1
    - right-click on Xpack1 > New > String Value > name it Installed
    - on the right-pane, double-click on Installed, set Value Data to True
    5. Exit Registry Editor
    6. Log in to Origin and Join China Rising Maps

    Replace 'Xpack1' with the following for each of the other DLC's.
    Xpack0 = Second Assault
    Xpack1 = China Rising
    Xpack2 = Naval Strike

    Now, if still having issues then get in touch with an EA games advisor:

    No the problem is that I cannot even download the DLC's. They still want me to pay for them even though I have premium. It says on Battlelog that I have premium but even then I have no Premium Battlepacks and no DLC for free. I know only the map packs are supposed to be not the Shortcut packs.

    SKittles, just to clarify, you bought Premium for PC and then you bought Premium for Xbone correct? Just checking because buying Premium on one platform does not give you Premium on all platforms.

    No I bought premium for Origin via ebay (the code did work and it even says my PC character has premium on battlelog) and Premium for X1 seperately. However the X1 (Xbox One) premium works fine but with PC premium I can't DL any dlc for free. I have to pay still.

    Thank you for the clarification Skittles, since this is on PC it is an account entitlement issue which only a game advisor can look further into. You can reach a game advisor here:

    1 Click on the following link: https://help.ea.com/contact-us
    2 Make sure you are logged in (top right corner)
    3 Click on the blue button "Contact a Game Advisor"
    4 Enter the name of your game or product (or "Origin" for account-related issues) and click "Find Solutions"
    5 Select the type of issue and the platform you play on, and click on "Find Solutions".
    6 Click on the blue button "I still need help" if the FAQ articles do not apply to your situation.
    7 Select a contact option. Note that you may get different contact options depending on your country.

    I recommend that you use the telephone option and the “call me” option so you don't have to stay on hold for a long time (call back feature available to North America only).
