[BF4] Platoons in 2023

Hi there, i was just recently re-bought bf4 with premium on ps5, is there any way i can join platoons at this late stage?

    Hi again @ekonoegroho ,

    Yes platoon membership requires that you apply and the platoon leadership grants you membership.  If you do not have known friends around that can support you in such process these days, then my suggestion to you would be the following:

    Go and play on the servers you like the most, with the maps and game modes you enjoy.  And then here take note of players you think you could have more fun together with in the game if you were in the same platoon also.  You then can see if players are members of any given platoon, as that platoon name is quoted on the scoreboard in sharp brackets before the soldier/player name. 

    "[Platoon Name] Player Name".

    Then send a text message to such players and ask if they can help you to join their platoons.

    Alternatively, try and join their squads, play together with them and also get on the mike and talk together about this while gaming.  Though granted, not many are playing using a headset these days, but dedicated platoons usually do...

    Best of luck with it !

    PS: To get suggestions for active platoons from the community here, then please state what gaming platform that you are on yourself, as most platoons are just for one and not cross platforms.

    Yes @ekonoegroho ,

    You can certainly still create your own platoon or join other existing ones still these days in BF4 !

    Best is use a std PC and then join via the Battlelog.com website, as the Companion App has in recent years no longer worked so well as its no longer maintained/kept up to date by the tech team.  So suggest you go here to search for the platoons you want to join if you do not want to create your own:

    Platoons - Battlelog / Battlefield 4

    (please notice with this link that I am on PlayStation, so depending on your own platform, you should of course logon and go to the platoons relevant for your own platform)

    And yes, its late stage for BF4 so not so many active players and platoons left anymore, but some are definitely still going strong.

    I already login on battlelog and try to find platoon on platoons section but it seems required some invitation. Sadly none of my friends is active anymore on BF4. Any suggestion for still active platoon nowadays?
